Oh Knit Dr
Our ? comes from Sarah (lilyshoppp on Ravelry). She wrote in on the Oh Knit Dr thread in our Ravelry group!
"I’ve got one. It’s a question about splitting a hank of yarn in half by the weight by grams (more precise than ounces) or by yardage. I’m talking handspun, or any yarn. I recently spun yarn, separated it by grams, then knit my two socks. Sock #1 has a cuff maybe 5 inches (which is long for me, but hey, it’s handspun! I want to use it!). Sock #2 has a cuff of maybe 2 inches. What a difference! I don’t care enough to under part of the first to add to the second and re-do the cuffs, but I wonder if both ways are equally prone to error big enough to make a difference?"

Also a ? about spinning from Sarah!
"I’ve got another too! Are you a spin doctor too? The question refers to STATIC!! I’m drum carding alpaca/silk and wool, blending the two, and there’s SO MUCH STATIC. Is there something I can do or do I just need to deal with it? :)"
